50 Ways to Be a Knight
It is important that you become apart of the UCF Community. The Welcome Expo held on Thursday, August 27 from 10 am until 2 pm in the Pegasus Ballroom is one of the best ways to begin connecting to the UCF community.
It is also important that you become familiar with our traditions as a Knight. Here are the 50 best ways to show that:
- Wear black and gold on Fridays
- Attend every class
- Do not walk on the Pegasus in the Student Union
- Jump into the UCF Reflecting Pond during Spirit Splash
- Cheer on our sports teams
- Join a UCF club or organization, or start your own
- See your academic advisor at least once a semester
- Live by the UCF creed
- Make college a high priority
- Swim in the Recreation Pool
- Keep a planner
- Be aware of academic dates and deadlines
- Introduce yourself to your professors
- Attend a SARC workshop
- Ride the UCF black and gold shuttle
- Read the Campus News email every day
- Sit at the front of your classes
- Join an intramural sports team
- Form a study group
- Utilize the Writing Center when writing an essay or paper
- Voice your opinion at student open forums
- Go to Late Knights
- Get tutoring from SARC or attend a Supplemental Instruction session
