50 Ways to Be a Knight

It is important that you become apart of the UCF Community. The Welcome Expo held on Thursday, August 28 from 10 am until 2 pm in the Pegasus Ballroom is one of the best ways to begin connecting to the UCF community.

It is also important that you become familiar with our traditions as a Knight. Here are the 50 best ways to show that:

  1. Wear black and gold on Fridays
  2. Attend every class
  3. Do not walk on the Pegasus in the Student Union
  4. Jump into the UCF Reflecting Pond during Spirit Splash
  5. Cheer on our sports teams
  6. Join a UCF club or organization, or start your own
  7. See your academic advisor at least once a semester
  8. Live by the UCF creed
  9. Make college a high priority
  10. Swim in the Recreation Pool
  11. Keep a planner
  12. Be aware of academic dates and deadlines
  13. Introduce yourself to your professors
  14. Attend a SARC workshop
  15. Ride the UCF black and gold shuttle
  16. Read the Campus News email every day
  17. Sit at the front of your classes
  18. Join an intramural sports team
  19. Form a study group
  20. Utilize the Writing Center when writing an essay or paper
  21. Voice your opinion at student open forums
  22. Go to Late Knights
  23. Get tutoring from SARC or attend a Supplemental Instruction session
  24. Be knowledgeable about your degree requirements
  25. Attend Homecoming events
  26. Vote in SGA elections
